Just trying to play around a lil in Photoshop....did this quickie..Haven't been feeling well at all this week....Yesterday had our house sprayed for roaches/termites...compliments of landlord...and I got a vicious headache so very sick...had to finally go to ER...then dog got sick this morning but he is okay...just opened all the windows...
We were in Ike's path but survived the worst..in Louisville,Ky 300,000 some are still without power and this is day 3..said it could be a full week before it is restored..My brother in law Ronnie is one without power..he said it is awful they have lost food...and can't get to work due to down power lines etc...we had high high winds but nothing vicious as what they got...I hope soon all is back to normal..what a path of destruction Ike bought to many....
I have chemo tomorrow...and then go to my Dr Mon for a monthyly check up...
On a good note...my son went to Lexington,Ky with
his preacher to pick up a sofa...calls home and says guess what mom? I got us a new computer...A new Gateway Vista..17' monitior screen keyboard printer/scanner combined...he said he thought I would like something new..I bursted into tears..I must admit it's different than my old Windows 98 and have to admit I like this version a bit better.LOL
Priss so good to talk to you sis and so happy you called me...I hope when we talk next that I am feeling better and I promise to try and call you sometime this week...Okay
Hope all of you are having a wonderful night..and have to admit I am finally thinking fall is on it's way..woke up and I freezing this morning a low 49 after 60 and 70 is quite a change...
I keep trying to think happy thoughts and say prayers for all of you...

Very nice, Sis! I really like "Falling Flowers"! I've missed hearing from you. Sorry you haven't been feeling well. Sorry I haven't been in touch..I haven't been feeling well, either. I feel a bit better today (knock on wood). I'm glad you weren't affected by Hurrican Ike. One of my online friends lives in Sugarland, Texas (right in the heart of the storm). I haven't heard from her since the storm hit Texas. I'm praying her house isn't under water or damaged in any way. She uses her house as a Day Care Center and can't afford to be 'out of business' for even one day. Take care, Sis! Love you! Maureen

Yea for Hubby's job!! And Yea for the new computer!! Boo on the landlord. lol I have a bug woman that comes once a month and sprays because of the cats I have. I don't want fleas and sometimes they will catch one of those huge roaches and bring inside. But that stuff they out out will trigger a migraine for me. Sometimes I tell the girl to just spray outside close up to the house because I know its going to give me a migraine. Hope your doggy is ok. Him barking the other night made me miss mine. Shes been gone 3 yrs in Jan. I hate it to loose power. We lost power for 26 hrs when Fay went through and I thought I would go nuts I was so bored. lol This is a unique pattern you came out with!! So glad you felt well enough to make it. It was great to hear your voice!! Your Ga Sis Priss

so glad your ok my friend and isn't it funny what something like a new comp can do the one i have was found in the junk a hp 2005 it is the best and most stable comp i've ever had i too cried it's like it was a gift from god. it is so sad what is going on in texas i will say a giant prayer in my heart for you and your fellow texasans stay safe my friend beautiful picture and glad your ok luv pam

Beautiful! Ike missed my sister and mother's places, too, with 3/4" of rain or so was all. Praying for all those without power. Glad you like your new computer. It's nice to have something that works better.
