Description

Holy Bryce!....it's been 1.5 years to the day that I last uploaded an image here. WOW, does time freaking FLY!

Well, obviously my work is keeping me from making Bryce art like I used to, and I would love

to make more complex scenes, but for now, I can only squeeze out the simple/quick renders.

This is a mesh made available by the INRIA Gamma team.

I first ran it through ZBrush to subdivide it a few times before importing it into Bryce.

The tile floor terrain was created in Photoshop, painted over a retail texture.

The Starfishes material is "Tagetic" from the "50 Spectacular Marble Presets" from DAZ.

I rendered out many various passes (including HDRI) and composited

them all (20+ layers) in Photoshop for complete control in the final image.

The HDRI used is from Keith Bruns, yet for some reason was not included in the Bryce 6 install with his others.

The one I did use (called "japanese subway station") and can be downloaded from his website (www.unparent.com).

Thanks and keep on Bryce-ing!!

WOW, the virtual realism is astounding and the creation model itself is out of this world, just one thing though,............... don't take so long to upload the next one ;^D

Complete control of the image?!?! I'm not even sure what I would DO for 20 different layers... VERY COOL. Would love to see an untextured version of the mesh itself.

MindBlowing and I think Mr Smith would find this rather stinky, if I recall he does not like smells. Awsome work and I see you came back with a vengence.

20 LAYERS!!! Are you sure you have control or it has control over you. Wow, I would love to sit with you and watch how you manipulate that many layers to achieve an effect. I think about 5 is all I ever, ever had in a scene. I don't know whether to cry at my inadequacies or throw up. I'll just jump for joy at your talent. Super!

Wow! Magnificent... The star has a wet/ glass feel to it... as if it was just pulled from the oceans and put there..

Great texture for a starfish and also for an octopus. I like very much your work with the tile floor terrain.

Ummmmm... I'm having a "squik" moment. That thing looks gross to me. Don't get me wrong. It's incredible and very well done, but it's grossing me out, man! :c)
