This would have been a great shot even if you had been sitting for an hour waiting for just the right moment, but to think it was a spur of the moment shot only adds to the beauty. He is certainly a beautiful animal.

This is so true Maria.Captured lots of pictures of yellow male finch building a nest a few days ago and today i tried to do the same,but with less success than tow days ago.You have done very well with this effort Maria.
