Description

A lower pov of the Pont du Gard aqueduct in southern France. Having taken a few shots from the traditionally favoured 'panoramic viewpoint' from up high (near to where I took Pont du Gard I), I wandered down through the trees to the water's edge and had a little play about with angles, taking my time enjoying the sun and watching the kayakers paddling by. My dad informed me actually that the best pov was from within a canoe approaching the aqueduct by water (something he and the others did after I'd already left for the 3-day return drive home)... though I'm not sure I'd have been confident enough in my ability not to capsize to take my camera bag along with me! Either way, I managed to get 'mildly muddy' getting this shot, but then I suppose if there's a picture worth taking, I'll usually end up covered in some kinda dirt! =| Slightly different approach to the postwork (colours) on this compared with the first one..hope you like it and have a great evening whatever you're up to! Adam

This is wonderful and the pov seems to be optimum since it catches the reflection in the water a a brilliant angle.
