Description

I liked the contours on the surface of this topmod mesh. Go with the flow! Squeeze a marshmallow or a pillow! The Poisson effect causes the sides to bulge when you squeeze the top and bottom of the cube (think of a marshmallow between a thumb and a finger). Poisson's ratio is the ratio of the relative contraction strain, or transverse strain (normal to the applied load), divided by the relative extension strain, or axial strain (in the direction of the applied load). So, I pinched, punched, and hollowed it out! Enjoy!
