Description

ho hum it's my birthday and since I have no friends I decided to make some up and throw a party :) I've wanted to do a scene with most of my major fantasy characters for some time, and this setting seemed appropriate to spend some quality time with them..

Wow, what a great crowd! Everybody has a dynamic pose. Did you assemble separate scenes in post work?

Thanks to all for your birthday wishes. Most appreciated. The actual event was rather disappointing, but the party was a blast, especially when the city watch decided to pay a visit and well you can imagine what a mess that made :) Maybe one day I'll get around to doing that scene. To those asking how I put this together, I did indeed use about 8 different renders to make the final scene and just spliced them togther. For these types of scenes I usually setup the base environment and then position the characters to suit in groups so that I can plan the layout as I go without obscuring too much detail. The tavern prop from Daz is simply amazing, I can't praise it enough, not only for it's versatility and quality but also the sheer number of props it comes with. It also comes with several pre loaded tavern scenes that I slightly cheated with and used whilst moving some of the furniture around making things a little easier. My laptop can only handle about 3-4 characters under these conditions so it was a slow process but I do like how it came out in the end. Thanks again.
