Canyon Auto Car Show Aug 17th 2008 This is Dreher's, my Son, VW "DD", He spends a lot of time, $, and love on her! The Family had a delightful time at the car show. Sort of like a picnic! Gavin, my Grandson, sticking his head out the window! I did not notice my face in the mirror until I uploaded it from the camera! :) Not as big as the Goodguys Southwest Nationals, but there were over 100 models which ain't to bad for a small town. Wow.. very cool Dennis. Too bad todays cars all look alike. Back in the 60's I could name most cars on the road.. not today. I wonder if any of todays cars will ever be on display in a car show 50 years from now? And will it invoke that same feeling as these unique machines? The downside of those oldies is they were ready for retirement at about 70,000 miles. For today's cars, 70,000 miles is still considered teen years. Also watched your U-Tube video with Mom this morning.. Outstanding! Great photo sets! Best wishes from Dave :^)

Super captures and beautifully presented. The VW has a wonderful shine to it. We had one of these when we were first married but it never shone like this one, or had the power. Ours sadly blew up in the middle of nowhere and we were forced to get it towed for miles. Very expensive.
