Description

Yesterday I was posting on Ebay and kept hearing the cats jumping at the front door. I went to look and Frosty Goontard was chasing this all over the door. Well I couldn't let it go without getting some pictures so here it is. The others didn't turn out very well. I hope you enjoy!

Richard, my cats don't go outside this thingy was outside on the door and I had it open for them to look out and get some sun. They were banging and carrying on when it was on the door something fierce. I tried to take some pics from the inside of the underside of it's body but they didn't turn out very good.

An excellent macro, a pity about the wire background, sometimes we can do nothing about that, at least you got one decent shot. Do you have this netting up to stop the cats getting out? I have made a run using this material for my daughters Guinea pig so that it can exercise outside. You did a great job here under the circumstances, not easy subjects when they keep hopping about. Bravo!!!!!

Jeff- the netting is the screen for my doors. I have screen doors that have the things where you can keep the screens in all year. They never come out. I tried to get this thing from the inside of the house so I could get his underside but like you said the screen obscured the views and I couldn't get a good capture. I've seen a lot of beautiful insect photos on Renderosity but that Dragonfly you got was really gorgeous! My cats chased this little thing all over the door from the inside of the house. You should have heard all the noise. After I took the pictures I closed the door so this grasshopper or locust or whatever could have some Peace!
