Description

Hi there!!! This is my newest charater, a robot that protects you, just a mechanic bodyguard. Now some infos about the work: this damn thing here is PURE C4D, no postwork! Render-time: 3 hours and 40 minutes. Now I am still working on an 'used' version with some scratches and bumps. I hope ya like it and thanX for taking the time to view my work. Please feel free to leave a comment here. Yours FAKE ~{o;)

hehe, the bad thing is: youre to good to be criticized :-) nobody would dare :-) so, what to say? It's a great job as ever, fantastic materialoutlook; the robot-model is also great, but I dont like the hands (but I had no better idea for a robot-hand till now :-) ... I allways think about a robotmodel that looks realistic and is not human-like. How would aliens build robots?

Hi Erik... thanx for the comment... maybe a bot from aliens looks like an insect? A spider or a bug. Got now some new inspirations??? (LOL)

Thank you for the lovely comment bonbon. I know you are the first who comment my work as I started to post images here under the name Kebbelchen, it`s a long time ago.

I was wondering what happened to "Kebbelchen". Great job -- I agree with all previous comments, design, color, light, composition all impressive.

I like the modeling, it's very good indeed. But I think the textures need some work. Everything is just too "clean", mainly the robot.

First I wanna say thank you all for the great comments and voting this image on second place in the Top-20! And now to your question Xzifer: its quite easy, activate the effect edge in the render-menue and set it to 20 - 30% and in the texturechannel you can set the bump-map to anti1 or 2, that gives extra-sharp reliefs. Thats all. I hope it will help you. ThanX! ~{o;)

Fake my friend - if I had 1/10th your technical expertise in 3D rendering, and I understood Poser better, and/or I won a few million in a lottery, I'd be one very happy artist with every 3D program ever made. I would be at my high end workstation 18 hours a day rendering my little ass-par-a-gass off. Even with all that going for me, your worst renders would still be far better than my best one. This image on a scale of 1 to 10 is about a 1000+. Your imagination alone is praiseworthy - let alone your mastery of your rendering software. I sit here open-mouthed and in total awe of your extraordinary skills - and now I'm off to go sulk and have a good cry! Beautiful work my friend.
