Description

Hi everyone, First thanks to all who commented on my post yesterday. I took this photo earlier this month and thought yesterdays dragonfly was the same kind. Now looking closer, the most obvious difference is the eyes. When they fly about all you see is a blue streak. I have had little luck using my guide to identify these. Thank you Lee for the help. Great focus George, I so love the wings on these creatures! I used to do stained glass and wanted to make dragonflies as accents for potted plants, but my hands got to shaky for cutting the glass anymore:-( And so I just enjoy them outside:-) and in images!

The wing structure always amazes me with any Dargonfly, mother nature sure fashioned these to work smoothly. They look like some sort of mechanical engineering, I keep expecting to see nuts and bolts holding them together. Superb macro, excellent clarity and detail. Bravo!!!!!5+++++
