Description

The Hippeastrum from yesterday fully opened. So many flowers comming out now spring is in full swing. Might have to go and chase down a new subject tomorrow. Thanx for dropping by & for all yor comments and ideas. Enjoy your tomorrows / Ralph

Great photo, Ralph. In the US we tend to call these amaryllis, which are either very closely related or just a name variant. We have the same blood-red variety bloom in front of the house in late April. The huge bulb which puts up these stalks and flowers has been going the last five years and now challenges the pot. Dick
