Description

a storm was so strong coming out of Oklahoma it blew an entire highway from Oklahoma into a corn field in NE Texas.of course it cleared a path in the corn first. the corn field I recently posted was taken just to the left of this vantage point http://market.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/media/folder_173/thumb_1729601.jpg thanks for viewing and any comments

Very dramatic photo Richard! The black and white is wonderful here, far more effective than color would have been. Wonderful perspective too! Lea

Ho,ho ho. I like the B&W capture as it really shows the road off in its starkness.

In this black and white mode, the intensity of the storm seems to be amplified. Fabulous shot!

Great B/W manipulation. Altho it's just a regular storm brewing, this has the look of early 'dust bowl' era photos. Could even be reminiscent of a scene out of the movie, 'Giant.' Excellent work, as always.

Fantastic shot, Richard. I love black and white photos. Very cool dark sky. And the impression of endless fields, and road is great on this picture. Masterly capture.

the wide angle really adds to the sense of perspective given by the road extending into the distance and I like your choice of quite a 'bright' tone.. nicely done!

Richard, this scene has been coming back to me....have been looking for one like this in color with the dark blues and atmosphere with light on the cornfield focus do you have the original of this in color-if so could you forward it to me? via email if you don't want to post it. Being originally from Kansas City MO when driving on the weekends with family often remember this type of scene in the eve of summer; think that's the reason it keeps cropping back into my dreams of late. Beautiful capture and moodiness in B&W
