Description

Mushrooms are always very intrigue to me, they have such unique structure, colors and textures, plus they are delicious to eat. I found this little one on my last trek at Los Maples state park. This is also the last picture of that trip. Thanks to everybody that commented on this series. Victor

These are "old" mushrooms, but they grew old in a very decorative way. I understand that you choiced a very wide opened diaphragm setting to catch the eye on the main subject, nevertheless I would have closed it by two stops to get a better depth of field without having excessive sharpness on the leaves. This could be checked roughly with the depth of field preview button on some SLR cameras, but not on all unfortunately. Nevertheless, looking on the taken image in the LCD screen helps to correct the pict. Nice and original picture Victor! 5 for the originality.
