That the Dr. in the trees...BIOI started with 3dsmax 2.5 7years ago. then i made a multimedia collage and saw Cinema 4D. I have to say that Cinema is such a cool and easy tool! its just GREAT! 2004 i made the second place at animago award europe. now 2006 i am working in the filmindustry. so its difficult to have time for my own pictures.
Enjoy my pictures!

I'd say you nailed the bump mapping. Looks very close to photo real. Only one more thing would make it photo real - that's caustics and radiosity. It can be faked by using coloured lights to simulate the gold light that would bounce off the metal and onto the wall. You need to be subtle about it though. Great work. :)

Clean as a whistle, very photo real. :)))

Brilliant work! Since you're shooting for photorealism, I suggest you take a look at an oil painting under similar lighting circumstances, there will be a very subtle bump map for both the texture of the canvas and the actual brush strokes. You might also see the brush strokes as a series of slight specular highlights caused by variations in the way the paint was applied. Only slight tweaking suggestions on an already fantastic image.

THX! it isnt an oilpainting! it was painted with only one hair :) so the bumpmap is not very visible :) but thx! if i had done it with an oilpainting, i had thought of it... hmmm bad english!?!?! :)
