Resume experts say that what counts most is what one has been doing in the last 10 years.
In this case, my resume would be extremely poor since I have limited myself to keep on working on what I accumulated in the 50 previous years. I have been involved in the movie, television and theater business. You know- movies and television screenwriting; stage plays, documentary and feature films directing; movies and television editing, and other other things in the same fields or styles.
In other words, I have turned into a teacher who gives classes on aspects that supposedly stopped being important 10 years ago.
I am already 60 years old and had many things _ themes_ left for doing in the fields of movies and TV. That's why, I think that it´s a blessing to have found the possibility of expressing my worries throughout the CG grahics environments also. Actually, it wasnt long ago, less than 2 years, that I started exercising in Poser, cinema 4D, Vue, and I still continue learning every day a bit more.
Perhaps, most of you have already noticed that my visual universes are unforeseeable, exchangeable, capricious and somehow polemic. I am this way also. And that I can journey also from the most sublime thing to the ridiculous one in fractions of seconds.
Those who believe in astrology would say that it is because I am a Gemini; maybe, they´re right. But, I am more inclined to think that it is because of some screw that it is missing in my head, or to that the child inside of me keeps on fighting to turn into an adult person, someday. Who knows!
I am a Cuban citizen who resides in Colombia for the last 15 years. I do not dominate English language as well as I´d like to, so I apologize in advance if sometimes I do not manage to express correctly my ideas.
Thanks for having arrived up to my Homepage; I hope you´d enjoy a bit my works. Any constructive comment is always well received.

NICE......
novelist
Yes, it has happened to me in all creative areas. I wouldn't say I felt used, but definitely guided whether it be in writing, choreography, or in digital art. I usually feel that this is when we do our best work--when we are transported outside our egos and communicate with something beyond. And this is certainly the case here, this is an outstanding image. When I gaze at this, it reminds me of my belief that the dead are never gone as long as someone exists to remember them. I also see in this that we make a mark on our environment, and mother earth will remember us, too, long after our bodies disappear. I love the expression on the face, the enntangled branches which to me suggest powerful emotions, thoughts, and difficulties. The lighting and colors are wonderful. I love it! Fav!

Interesting image

I agree with novelist - great image! Moreover - I would say that is what I am always aiming for in art (or writing) - that kind of flow which is just effortless (isn't that also known as 'the muse'?) - pity the muse doesn't always show up! Fave also!

Love it! Not sure I know what it is saying. Maybe its a statement about global warming and our world slowly dying.

i think it's wonderfully strong and poignant. i see it as about the earth much more than about the dead. she carries us in life, she carries us in death. that's an incredible use of those vines. i like the trees in the background. this piece reminds me of a story once where the dead were buried upright in huge pots with trees planted on top. the wealthy kept their ancestors in palatial greenhouses. and then again, i think the gravestones and her reproachful look imply our combined future if we don't find new ways to live.

Great image! I love the expression - where ever it came from. It seems to be an image about 'control'. Is the subject controlling that environment which she seems to be attached to, or is it controlling her? It seems to pose that question.

fantastic .... and beautiful too!! :)

Fantastic expression, amazing eyes. Hard to take my own eyes from those sad, hypnotic eyes. Each person will read this in a different way because this deals with death, emotions, memories, rationalization, nature, religion, etc, all primeval concepts that, together, conspire to form one very powerful image. Excellent work!

Perfect.

So much symbolism in this. Great expression with wonderfully soulful eyes. Great dramatic lighting too. Really interesting and unique work!

...and after all the losses, in spite of all the pain, constrained and entangled, you tested me in vain. For I am here for you, unflinching, unwavering. I will carry you. This is what I think she says in her heart and with her eyes. Absolutely brilliant image.

I think image create themselves all the time for me, in the sense that the concept I start with is hardly ever the one I finish with. Halfway through, something just intervenes, imposes itself on me in a sense, and all of a suddenm it's a brand new image. That's how my best work gets done. As for this image, I think the most striking element might be the forlorn expression on her face. She is clearly bearing the weight of the world, but doing so willingly. It's the expression of a mother disappointed in a child that isn't proving as wise as she might have expected. That and the organic components of the scene made me immediately think of an environmental statement of sort. Nicely done!

Very cool piece, excellent concept and very unique and imaginative piece. And I hear ya, occasionaly a piece comes together almost on its own, with a life of its own. Like hittin the easy button lol ;)
