Description

The old farm has gone to seed. Spring poppies cover the now quiet farm with a blanket of beauty. I live in a rural area and scenes like this one are everywhere each spring. I never tire of them. The poppies are from Linda Daireaux's wheat field set. The cabin and cart are freebies from Tablesaw. The windmill was an old Wings project from my bit box. Thanks for looking!

Simple composition yet a stunning image. Good choice of foreground textures - quite complex and draws in the eye. I also like the POV looking up the hill, with the sky showing clearly behind the tree and old house. Great work!
