Description

I was trying to get a shot from a diff angle here but she moved the horn up as I took the shot. I looked as the photo just after I took the shot to see if I got it right. I saw the clouds like around it and did not understand how that happened?? andy way I try again to get the shot i was going for but This time I noted the image gone and the it there again. i have the 500MM mirror len on and that len you can be looking for a needle in a hay stack there at times. So I looked to see where the horn is and then I saw the old man with the cowboy hat on between me and the horn. He was bending over and talking to someone next to the horn player. and as he do this he blocked the veiw of the horn so I waited for him to move but then the song was over and the horn player got up to go. No change of getting the shot I wish but I got a lot of shots of the horn. I do like the effects here. Came out the camera as it just resize that all. thanks for looking and comments

Very cool shots, Jock. Like on the last shot, it really shows on the surface, how old it is. It could easily be from the 40s, 50s or 60s... Saxophones(i think) like that always tells a lot about a musician. She loves that Sax... very obvious...and would never exchange it with a shiny one. She is prolly a fantastic musician too i bet. Virtuose musicians often have a weakness for old worn instruments. Somehow i can't help thinking about Charlie Parker and BeeBop.... Love the purple fog.. that is a cool touch.+5

Instead of them blowing a horn, are you sure this wasn't someone smoking a water pipe/hookah? Terrific capture of the horn disappearing into the ephemeral clouds, Jock!
