came my way and I was fascinated by the colors of the leaf and fruit... in a meadow they just stand out with this etherical red and green... Hope you like it and thanks for viewing...smile

They don't look sour, although the stock reminds me of rhubarb. A wonderful macro of them very much details.

I don't know about sour, but that sure looks like a fungus enveloping the fruit, Ulla. And yes, a rhubarb wannabe to boot. Be that as it may, a fine macro of the alien plant. Reminds me of one of Andrea's (durleybeachbum) esoteric insects that she encounters in her garden.
