the weather people try to out guess Mother Nature, but usually it is a bad guess. I am far enough South to avoid early snow but when I was a child , it tended to happen often. the Panhandle of Texas has had snow fall in the month of August. even Fort Worth has had early snows, but misses Dallas 30 miles to the East your capture shows the stark reality of cold weather perfect
