Description

Hello ! I had this little visitor, few days ago. I had to move fast before it hurt its wings. Not much left of the summer, so I had to let it out very fast. and the shot was taken against the light too That is why the quality is not the very best. Finally I had an excuse LOL ! Thanks for your kind comments to yesterdays post and a special thanks to those who added it to their favs. I am very grateful. We have had nice weather. In the aftenooon up til 18C = 64.4 F and sunny.

the light behind the butterfly emphasizes beautifully that it is stuck inside & wants to get out. It's right up against the window...The butterfly is beautiful; you got the sheen on its circles so we get to see how shimmering it is; but your light-saturated window almost makes it look like the butterfly is trying to go to that light. And all the lines & dots on the window emphasize that this is very much inside (while your butterfly belongs outside). Terrific that you left those scratches in the shot. And full-size one really sees the details of the insect: the hairs, the bristle, and all the sheen & translucence of its wings. (You always give us that in your macros.) It's beautiful, and one really gets the feeling of the insect wanting to leave...

HEHE! Lines and dots, Mark.... must be all the spider webs on the outside of the windows. There goes just a day after I remove them and they are back every one of them, so I gave up. LOL! Thank you :)
