Description

Me playing with ILB's TMK 2 again. This time a more basic set - just walls and drapes, in deliberately neutral tones. Lighting provided with the set - a "warm" white to counter the rather cold background. The figure is V4, the character Thorne & Sarsa's Tommi. Pose is from the TMK 2, clothing is the Aterdecer outfit with the Lovely textures. In other words, all of the non-TMK 2 stuff is from D@Z. This one isn't complete Lego - the clothing require some minor adjustments both to the typical Thorne/Sarsa waif-like figure and the fact that it was apparently a very cold day in the studio (I wish more outerwear supported those morphs, since in reality it can show even through undergarments and a sweater). After those fitting issues, I redid the facial expression to be a bit less showroom dummy and a bit more sensual. Didn't work - the end result is more vacant than anything, with a sultry hint of "Duh". Oh, and the hat needed its shrink morphs heavily used to avoid the impression that aliens had landed on her head. I ditched the sunglasses from the otherwise rather tasteful ensemble since, despite being color co-ordinated, they made her look like somebody's great aunt. Rendering in P7 Pro with everything turned up full, including DoF enabled. The expression could do with a little work to increase/add some sensuality and and she looks a bit malnourished (a perpetual mismatch between my buying Thorne & Sarsa's work for its sheer quality and my personal preference for characters who're not quite so frail-looking). Oh, and that hat needs to be tilted so that the shadow of the brim no longer makes her look like she's sporting a Fu-Manchu mustache. High points? Well, those had to be removed to eliminate poke-through, but other than that the transparency looks quite nice, and the combination of the slightly unfocused shadows highlighting the outfit's transparency is pleasing to my eye, at least.
