Description
Hello again, my friends.
Late last pm, I returned home from some work connected training, having been away for three days, (4 counting the travelling involved!)
I was at Harrison Hot Springs, in BC, which has recently hosted the World Championships of sand sculpture, which are often held at Harrison Lake. This view simply shows you the lake in the background, a man-made 'lake' in the foreground, the surrounding lovely sand and a few of the many amazing sculptures I saw. The sculptures totally surround the man made lake, and their background is always the real lake, the lovely mountains, and, when I was there, the delightful, warm, early Fall evening light that bathed them all. There were many different classes of sculptures, with groups of previous International winners, previous World champs, family offerings, and many, many more. It was a pleasure to simply wander around admiring them!
OOPS! I should have mentioned the scale of the sculptures seen above! On the far left, is a blue porta-potty, which has a white roof!

Lovely capture, Chris! For some inexplicable reason, this bucolic scene reminds me of Austria or Switzerland.
