Description


Spring Lake Path Created in TG2. I wanted to test a few new techniques I have been working on, and combine them will skills I already knew. This is the result.

Wow, this is great. You guys working with Terragen have made incredible strides in the couple years I've been looking at the gallery. This looks like a full, living, breathing landscape. Wonderful job. I especially like the variety you've gotten into the flora. Last time I looked at Terragen, the trees were "rubber-stamped" into the terrain. Now, it looks like a real hill-side. Now, not a criticism, but a challenge--the next thing you need to add that will make it fully convincing in its realism, is some "imperfection." Broken branches, dead tree, bits of branches on the ground, "scruff" piled up against rocks and plants on the windward sides.

I think the trees are a little out of scale compared to the size of the rocks. Also the trees look too similar. Anyway, really good work.
