Description

This is a picture of old farmland up in PA, which the university turned into a large lake. Completely flooded the farms, and I heard that if you go underneath the water, there are still parts of buildings that are standing even after all these years. John (my sweetie) is headed back up to PA for two weeks. I, unfortunately, am not making the trip this year. So expect a lot of lonely ramblings until sometime around the 11th or 12th, LOL! In all seriousness, the time alone will give me some extra time to probably get some things done and spend time with my friend Michael, who's headed off to boot camp for the Army next month...but that doesn't make me any happier about it. This weekend is only the third weekend in almost two years that John and I haven't spent together (he usually has off on the weekends). And two weeks, well, that's the longest we've gone without seeing each other, period. So it'll really be odd. But oh well...I mean, we'll get to talk to each other every day, but...I dunno. I really wish I could go up there again this year, it's beautiful...and I sort of miss it. And I know I'll be missing John like crazy. =( But hey - at least I've got y'all to keep me company ^_~ That's enough ramble for me today. *giggle* Love you guys. Thanks for viewing, comments welcome as always.

Spectacular shot and facinating information! Oh, what I wouldn't give to be able to see if those rumors of the buildings were true! :-) Keep a stout heart and your sweetie and you will be back together again in no time. In the mean time, ramble all you like! :-D

A great shot and imagining buildings still beneath the water is both fascinating and somehow creepy. It's wonderful to be with someone you love. Saying goodbye is sad but makes saying hello that much sweeter. CC

A beautiful shot. It is difficult to realize how much of the "old" we erase every day. JDoc

I am so far behind, I have been forced to cut and paste. I wanted you to know I was here and had viewed your work. You are one of my favorite artists or I would not even be here. I love your art. In fact now that I think about it you are part of the reason I am so behind...LOL
