Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

helle, it's beautiful. Your filtering is not only gorgeous, but it's perfect for your subject. You've made it into an old postcard or print, perfect for Hans Christian Andersen. (He was a touching story teller, and he wrote his own fairy tales—unlike the Grimm Brothers, who collected them throughout N. Europe.) A beautiful photo & dedication. Nice composition too...it really emphasizes the taper of the street. This is a fav for sure. Oh, and as for Dave: How nice that you dedicated this to him! He tirelessly collects personal stories and works hard to make touching images about them (and does so with real humanity); then tells them sensitively and translates them into other languages! I hope everyone goes to his gallery...lovely dedi, Helle!

Love this street of buildings, but most of all HC Andersen's home. Oh my! I can see the movie 'Red Shoes' with Moira Shearer before my eyes. It was a special story and movie to a young girl taking ballet lessons. And, The Little Mermaid! It is amazing what wonderful memories your photo brings to my mind.

I am brought up with HC Andersen. In my time as a little girl, they were the only fairy tales that were accessable. I remember when "Pelle Svanslös" was released, one a year. But HC Andersen I had in two big books with leather cover and gilt-edges. And of course loved. Thanks for showing his home Helle. Odense is a wonderful place. Great dedito Magnus who shows us so much from the fairy tale world.
