Hi, I am obviously new here. Just found this site by accident. I am new to the digital art community. I have only been doing digital art a little over a year and a half. I started by drawing online at a little site called sketchfu.com which was very limited, but for me who has no computer training, and didn't even know you could draw with the computer (ya really) it was a great place to start. I had first drawn with a mouse, not an easy task. lol. I did that for almost 6 months before I even heard of a tablet. Well now, there was a great invention, lol, I have had my tablet a wacom intous 6x8 since this past Christmas, but was so intimidated by it, I didn't even use it for 2 or 3 months. Honest. But once I got used to it I was thrilled, made a huge difference in my out put and work! Once I had my tablet I knew it was time to move on from sketchfu.com to a few more online draw sites that were a bit more complicated.
I now draw on 2 sites that have the oekaki-shi painter, chibi paint and lascaux drawing applets. All of my work that you will see displayed has been done on one of the above applets.
Â
I do have photoshop cs3, but it isn't on my computer, no space left, waaaa....but I am hoping that Santa will bring me the computer of my dreams this Christmas...I have been a good little girl....til then I will draw online. I do have a couple of paint/photoshop like programs on my computer, but I haven't as of yet become proficient at them. All my skills are self taught, including all my computer skills. Computer/digital art wasn't available when I was in college, ya, I am that old...ahem...
I am also currently a member of Deviant Art under the same name, Starzshine, that is also what I go by on all the different drawing communities that I frequent. Feel free to take a look at my account at DA that is where you will find all of my work.Â
Â
I am also a fractal crazy person...ya, but again totally new to the genre. I am learning more and more. I use apophysis 3d hack and 2.08 versions, I have tierazon, mbflite, and ultra fractal. The later two I had to remove in order to free up space, stinks...my computer is that full!
Well that about sums up me...

Wow, that is very good work, and all drawn by hand. Your eye detail is wonderful and again to have done that by hand takes some real talent. Wonderful skin tones.
