Description
As you might guess, cartographers show up in my dreams. They don't show often, mind you, but when they do, all hell breaks loose. They leave maps, graphs, fractals, you name it...
While I was dreaming last night, I ran into one of the map-makers. She showed me this map from the dream above. She said: "My kids would be sooooooooo grateful if you posted this."
Well, as you know, getting dreams into .jpg's is tough. I got this into 200kb, though most brain waves prefer 2MB's at least.
(I'm posting a tutorial for those interested...)
Pencils on paper & some ink; with some minor surgery in PS.
Thanks for all previous comments & favs, all are greatly appreciated!
Have a great Sunday,

I like so much, when you Draw/paint like that. It is so beautiful and I love the frayed edges. Excellent work.

A wild and wonderful image Mark and you should patent that process of converting dreams into images as you will make a fortune. This image really is amazing and speaks to your dream as being very intense and it is easy to see why you couldn't get it out of your head. Nicely done

I find the longer I stare at this image, the more i see the city. I wonder how this would be on paper [or pretend paper].

That is awesome and VERY humorous! I am glad you were able to condense this dream and please all the people that requested it in print! I'm hoping you didn't experience any "shorting out" and no smoke alarms were heard? Um... Uncle Fester comes to mind... Love it!
