She's so beautiful Penny and the colors of her outfit and wings are amazing, almost like soft pastels

Lovely and colorful. Love those wings. Great pose and cool background. Great effects - love the butterflies on the shoreline and the magical sparkles. Wonderful sheen to her dress. As for your question, I'm still working on that myself. Some of it has to do with adding blinn in the material nodes room to the character's mat (but a good many of the current characters being sold already have that!) I haven't really worked with 'shaders' much but I have used Face off's real skin shader. Is that what you're referencing? You have to add it to the lighting and then if you change the lighting redo it again. Hope this helps.
