What a view those people must have overthere, just before being swung around.
For Dragonmuse: It is quite common to have a fun fair in the centre of town in the Netherlands and I believe also in a great part of Western Europe. In Eindhoven where I was born they keep it spread over seven squares and they close down one of the biggest streets for the biggest fair and in Tilburg where I studied there's the largest one in the land and possibly of Europe spread out through the whole of the centre of town. But the one here in Gouda is so rich in contrast with the surrounding environment that to me it's a whole new experience.

I look at those people up there, and my stomach twists up in a knot thinking about how they will come down! If I even had the nerve to go on that ride, I would be screaming ALLLLLLL the way down! Wonderful capture, I too like the contrast of the old and the new.
