As an avid urban explorer, I think this is a wonderful photo. I have an identical location very close to me in Australia. Anyone interested in finding it just needs to head to Dight's Falls! Google it if you must!!!!

Love the surface, the blending of colors and the kind of skin, however poisonous it may be.

There appears to be a lot of iron in the liquid Luis, but it also looks very corrosive, that may well be the reason for the rusty colour, it has eaten away at the stanchions and other metal objests there. I would not risk walking in it and would also be wary of fumes, where it is evaporating it looks very metalic and has a distinct sheen to it. Excellent capture Luis, not only an abandoned mine but a minefield of both dangers and photo opps. Dangerous and inviting at the same time, I can understand your facination with the place, I would be also. Thank you for sharing. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

Good lawd, I had to don a hazmat suit just to look at this amazing photograph of heaven-only-knows concoction of elements. Woe to anyone who falls into that mess. They would be stripped of everything but bone on coming to the surface.

WOAH!!!! Definately NOT waters I would want to brave, that's for sure! I'd have to go with JeffG7BRJ, it definately looks like iron. May be toxic, but in its own way, beautiful at the same time. I can certainly see the alure to photograph these kinds of places. chuckles You're a LOT braver than I would be! GREAT shot!
