Description
Goult est un vieux village situé dans le Parc Naturel Régional du Luberon qui fera le bonheur des amoureux des vielles pierres et de belle nature. Restauré avec soin, le village présente de belles bâtisses de pierre et d'ocre.
Vous vous baladerez avec plaisir dans ses petites rues, après avoir passé l'église vous tomberez sous le charme de ses passages voûtés, ses arcades et portes anciennes. Vous y découvrirez les vestiges d'anciens remparts ainsi que le château de la famille d'Agoult émergeant de la roche (propriété privée qui ne se visite pas).
De grandes places ombragées de micocouliers centenaires vous accueilleront pour vous faire partager la douceur de vivre bien provençale qui règne à Goult. Après cette agréable pause, vous pourrez de nouveau repartir à la découverte du village ....et visiter les terrasses de cultures du Conservatoire des Terrasses.
De grandes oliveraies, de beaux chênes verts et des plantations agricoles encadrées de jolis murets de pierres sèches sont entretenus restaurés et aménagés par les bénévoles du Conservatoire. Vous en profiterez bien sûr pour admirer les somptueux paysages qui entourent ces terrasses, vous êtes ici dans une belle campagne provençale....
Goult is an old village situated in the Regional Natural reserve of Luberon which will make the happiness of the lovers of hurdy-gurdies stones and of beautiful nature. Restored with care, the village presents beautiful buildings stone and ochre.
You will stroll with pleasure in the lanes, having to cross the church you will fall under the charm of the arched passages, its arches and old doors. You will discover to it the vestiges of ancient ramparts as well as the castle of the family of Agoult appearing from the cliff (private property which does not visit).
Of big shaded places of micocouliers centenarians will welcome you to be shared the very Provençal relaxed rhythm of life which reigns to Goult. After this pleasant break, you will again be able to start again in the discovery of the village and visit the terraces of cultures of the Conservatoire of Terraces.
Of big oliveraies, beautiful holm oaks and agricultural plantations framed with beautiful low walls of dry stones are maintained restored and fitted out by the volunteers of the Conservatoire. You will take advantage of it naturally to admire luxurious landscapes which surround these terraces, you are here in a beautiful Provençal campaign....
