Description


Nikon 7900 pocket camera, hand-held image. Here is the first of several different species of Leafhopper I have managed to capture this year. It is just a tiny representation of the many different species that exist. Most are less than 1/4 inch (6mm). Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

This is marvellous! It always amazes me that nature deveotes so much attention to detail on even the smallest things. This is an extrenmely well-dressed leaf-hopper!

Great shot Lee, the latin name sort of suggests Tiger to me but I would have thought Zebra was more to the mark. Lol. Excellent capture, I have seen some leaf-hoppers here but none like this. Bravo!!!!!
