Description
Vaggabondd helped me with this one. We were on a path by the Columbia River when we saw this snake crossing the side walk. Vaggabondd ran and picked it up by the tail. Trust me I used the zoom haha. I was able to get a couple of shots off before Vaggabondd let it go. This was the best one. It tried to take a bite out of vaggabondd a couple of times so he let it go. I hope everyone likes it Lizzi...

Oh my gosh!! This is a beauty! I must say, Vagabond is a very brave man. Did you know what kind of snake this is? It's gorgeous whatever it is! What a fabulous shot you got, too!! WOW!!

Nice capture of the capture, lol. I do not know the species, but I am positive it is not a poisonous snake because the pupil of the eye is round and not slitted. Just remember that even non-poisonous snakes can (and often do) bite. Thanks for sharing, Lee
