This is another photo from my mini series of St Aubins Bay from high above the town. To the right of the tree you can just see the pathway that leads down to the road. The most welcome bench is also visible, a godsend for those coming up from the road! Thank you for your views and comments Susan

It's interesting to compare this with my home town, Bournemouth, quite similar in many ways. We have the zig-zag paths down to the beach, and pine trees, but no cars allowed on the prom after 10am.

This is very familiar. Too many years ago we lived in Jersey and my husband began the conversion of the Fort to an outdoor education centre, so hope you will have some pix there. Brings back happy memoties with this nice shot.
