Description

This image is based on a re-occuring dream I used to have. Carrara with Dogwaffle Particles. This is an experimental image so I would love to hear any comments.

The foliage looks terrific - is that the particles? A wonderful - if slightly creepy - scene!

Love the vegetation in this - the light hits it just right. :)

It seems to be a maximum securtity cell block with a foliage atrium. So soothing to the criminal psyche. Those apartment blocks had a secure template and a highly controlled aperature. Landlord laws are a lynchpin of property laws.

I enjoy the smooth, almost silky sunlight on the various shades of verdant lime. The tranquil, free nature is such a marked contrast to the parallel cage, built of cold, hard steel ... the hideousness of the creature locked within provides an unsettling feeling of something not-quite-right with this scene ... intriguing work, I would be interested to see the next development ...

What I want to know is HOW that demon got in that cage, lol. Must be an interesting story. The light is hasa great flow, and the greenery very lush. I like it.

Nybras? You dream of Nybras? In jail? Freud would have a FIELD day. I've always been fascinated by Dogwaffle (I like in Project Dogwaffle that you can actually mix virtual paint - Freud would have field day with that statement too). The density and the shadow on the plants themselves look quite convincing. However, up at the top center and especially on the right side approaching the bars, the 2D-ness seems to show some limitations. I suspect that doing some postwork using masks, layers, and some of the angling, resizing, and liquification tools (read: effective forshortening) would help to expand the sense of perspective. Care is evident in the fact that your lighting matches. Very beguiling piece, altogether - as a dream should be.

This certainly has the feel of a dream, the lighting is almost surreal in how it setup with the scene- its like daytime but somehow different in a way I cannot explain- the vegetation in the foreground is an interesting contrast to the bars and beast. Very cool!

Okay, you've got my attention here! Fantastic scene and composition. Interesting mix of elements (I mean a prison block and what looks like a tropical rain forest). It's certainly an interesting concept...what were the elements behind the dream that inspired this? Regardless...Great job!

Excellent scene and composition! The plants look nearly real and the lighting adds a lot to the atmosphere too. Unfortunately my screen is constantly changing gamma and brightness so I canĀ“t tell much about the darker areas of the pic.

Well, the image speaks volumes. It's almost like they have evil trapped within the Garden of Eden. Why can't I have dreams like this?

the foliage composition in the foreground is amazing and the point of view add with the lighting a surreal, dreaming mood on the overall scene.....I love it!
