Description
I wasn't familliar with Dave's(Magnus073) work until recently I stumbled upon his gallery. After spending considerable time there (which went by in a blink btw) I was struck by the generosity and love shown in his images and words. He brings the memories of others to life through his images of children running and playing as children do. At first glance you might think that they're simple and cartoony but don't be fooled. These images are a wonderful look into the human condition.
I added Dave to my favorite artist list because I found myself wanting to see more. Well Dave thanked me for the favorite and went on to explain that his work could be characterized as "So if you don't mind images that can be a bit childish at times" as if you could portray children another way. He also explained that his images were children friendly because he did them with his 3 neices while his sister was having surgery and recovering from a serious brain tumor. She is slowly getting beter btw.
It occured to me that someone needed to try and create a memory for Dave, so why not me. This image is about an Uncles love when it was really needed. Thank you Dave for your wonderful images and for reminding us that there is a tender side to humanity.

Well you described Dave's work to a tee what I like best is the expressions he uses and how he sets up the scene.
