Description

It was my birthday last week. I hate birthdays, but a friend of mine suggested I celebrate and they booked a function room in a cliff-top hotel. I was dancing like a man possessed - all arms and legs, when suddenly a giant octopus tapped me on the shoulder and tried to cut in... Models from Renderosity and Daz etc. Produced in Vue and Photoshop.

This work is copyright and cannot be used for any purpose without written permission from Peter Hague Concept - Design - Art Direction. All my images have an embedded digital ID throughout, which cannot be removed, even from a cropped section, and is registered.

Ah you did'nt know it used to be called "the Giant Octopus View Hotel" then. Apart from that it's a fantastic scene, colours, composition, athmosphere..definitely worth a gold star. Just one question though, did you do this yourself or did your dad help you?

Very funny comments about your Octopus birthday surprise. This is one of my favourites of yours to date. Excellent night-time render with great atmosphere. The lighting on the Octopus is spot on, as are the water splashes that you seem to do so well. One can almost hear the Octopus thrashing about in the waters below the cliffs. Tony.
