"Monitor" is that one of those mythological Creatures from Crete or wherever? We humans are never satisfied. Always we search for pattern: the hidden order. I suppose it gives us control or the impression thereof. Still, our civilisation(s) are built upon so ordering the world. Understand and you Know, but knowledge is always trapped in a fragile shell. It ever-grows, the shell shatters; we rebuild. It is mystery, rather than knowledge which gives zest to life. Perhaps the Search is the essence?
