I have been doing art all my life...when computers came along it changed everything...I have been using c4d since it was a small program with multi boxes that if you weren't careful would get lost on you...grin...I have always tried to push the boundaries of the programs I use and usually end up running out of system resources...but I have now reached a point where machine and the power of the programs have enabled me to start getting my images...out of my mind and into the computer... I pass what little knowledge I have on to my girlfriend...who has started to come out as a very fine artist in her own right...hope you all enjoy my pictures...
I have written a tutorial for anyone having a hard time with Daz studio lighting...it gives some tips that may be helpful for those just starting out...kuzan-tutorials.awardspace.biz/

I would up the reflectivity on the water and watch out for harsh angles. (square thing on left).

Lovely composition. As 'Turner' says plus the shadows look to dark and sharp. A very light mist (using a depth map in postwork) would help in giving the image extra depth. Does the water have any transparency?

Nice work on the atmo, and the turtle looks good. Those rock mats really need work though.

nice tortoise. Maybe add some reeds or water plants in front of some of the rocks to hide the harsh lines. otherwise its a good job. :-)
