Yup... but nothings forever and you only get one shot at this life thing... it's not a dress rehearsal... your image is very symbolic... I like it!

Also, 100 years of raking up the leaves. Hopefully there's many more years to come!

A little bit depressive picture, something to link to the actual banks crash ? Techically perfect elsewhere ! clouds are from Vue or alphaplan ? The tree is quite excellent!

A willow bends to the wind, while the oak resists it. Small winds don't bother the oak, but one big one breaks it. I'd rather be a willow in life. I'm always being blown this way and that, but big winds are no worse than little winds to me. Great work. ^__^

jmherve, the clouds are Vue clouds, not alphaplanes. Thanks for the kind words!

This image evoked a very visceral reaction in me. Its not so much the tree - it has no choice but to stay where its growing. The real brave one is the bird - its flying against the wind even though it could change direction. I've seen seagulls do that and they seem like they even enjoy the challenge. Watching them saved my life - if they can do it, so can I. Requires much more than technical skill to evoke such reaction. Well done.

I really love what you've done with this. It's not just that your textures and lighting are perfect, but your point of view...putting the tree up there with the clouds behind. You give a perfect sense of extreme height, without showing any other landscape. The bird against the wind is just the perfect counterpoint to your tree. I'm so floored by your artistic sense, really amazing!

Have to agree with geirla...incredible clouds Artur...the sense of blowing wind is nicely portrayed by both the bent tree and the bird struggling to reach it...excellent mood to this one!
