Description

Third in a series of classic vehicles, here we have an alternative fuel auto, powered by solar cell energy, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California. As indicated on the auto's surface, it was created by the students of Cal State Los Angeles, and participated in a race with other solar energy cars back in 1997. I wonder if the "Show and Shine" car shows ever feature anything of this nature. Incidentally, the yellow car at the top left in the bottom picture is a 2008 Lamborghini, which I will better display later on in this series. Thankx for stopping by, and have a tendentious Tuesday.

It must have raced with the U of M Sunnyracer. They really did something with those cars. The controls to accomplish it all were just beginning.
