Description

Royal Python (Ball Python) (Python regius) Royal Pythons do make good pets but they are easily stressed through over-handling. Royal Pythons need to be managed with a humidity gradient as well as a thermal gradient. They will do well maintained on beech chippings and sprayed lightly once every twenty four hours. Heat mats are ideal for use with young snakes but guarded ceramic or infrared heating is best for adults. Thank you for looking, as always any comments or suggestions welcome 8~) **Best Viewed Full Size**

Great detail. Also known as a Ball Python. Used to have one as a pet. Lovely reptile, tho they do have a cracking and fast strike on them, feels like a hammer tapping the back of your hand. I should know got bit by one. My fault, it had just shead its skin. Not a good time to try and clean around a snake.;-)

So eine Königspython/Ballpython habe ich schon in den Händen gehalten. Sie sieht noch interessanter aus, wenn sie mit der Zunge züngelt. Thus a royal python, I have been in the hands. It looks even more interesting, if they lambent with the tongue.

Excellent detail in this David, I am assuming it was behind aquarium glass, and I know it is difficult to get good lighting, so you did exceptionally well. Pauline is that scared of snakes she can't even look at them. Superb capture. Bravo!!!!!
