Description

Hi Everyone, Here is a snapshot of the blacksmith at the fair demonstrating his work. He called this making the pineapple twist. I came through the building in the middle of his work and kept moving on as it was a crowded spot. Stayed long enough for two photos and heard the bit above. Thanks for looking. -GB-

I am fascinated by people who work with extreme heat - steel foundries, blacksmithing, glass blowing, etc. It is a skill and a job that takes all a body has to offer. Great shot!

Wonderful capture! I visited the blacksmith shop at a fair and didn't want to go anywhere else for the rest of that day. I'd like to spend a whole day there some time. :D
