Description

Another image found in the vault, with a light dusting of snow. This is about as close as I could get to replicating Glencoe in Scotland, one of my all-time favourite places in the universe (so far). I hope my Scots friends won't be too upset with me for attempting the impossible... ! Terragen .9.43, sizing and signature in PSP. Thanks for looking - all comments and/or crits are welcome. Craig

this is a fantastic high mountain scene- very realistic. reminds me of some of the matt-paintings for Lord of the Rings.

Excellent landscape Craig,well worth dusting off!Having been to some areas of Scotland as a kid this brings back memories,and you've captured the rugged terrain very well.The lighting and atmosphere in this really gives one a sense of a cold day with a welcome warmth of sunlight,something I don't remember seeing too much of in the time I spent in the highlands...kudos,and thanks for sending me on a trip down memory lane!!

Looks good so far, but I'm wondering what you want to show "us"? The sky? Looks "as usual", the surface? Well snow.. Not so hard, the terrain and lighting? You can do this better.. My tip: Don't upload your image until you're absolutely satisfied. =) Greetings
