Description

CRUSIN' SUSAN WAS THE NICK NAME FOR PT 242. THIS IS THE NEW PT THAT HAS JUST COME OUT. STILL WORKING WITH IT AND WILL REVIEW AT SOME POINT. I would just like to say thanks for the comments. I read about 5 months ago one of the best books on PTs Devil Boats: The PT War Against Japan (Paperback) by William Breuer (Author) If you get a chance check it out he gets down to the hard brutal combat that PT crews went through in the Pacific. Also THEY WERE EXPENDABLE has to be essential PT boat movie. Directed by Howard Hawks. John Wayne, Donna Reed (I'd like to have a milk shake with here) and Robert Mongomery. BeyondVR? did the model and I hope he does a Elco. Yes there is one done by deespanol but a new one with all the armament and modifications would be a blast. Again thanks for the comments for they come from some of the best out there.

Excellent action!! I have a book on the PT. The 242 was a Huckens boat. It was also known as the Celeste. The names changed with the captains. Their high performance engines routinely exceeded their TBO and boat names like the Coughin' Coffin were common. The book I have is ISBN 0 7137 1405 0
