Description
This is a design proposal I made for a university assignment. The brief was to design a university of which I suggested that the best possible idea would be to put it underground. Our design also had to be informed or related to an architectural theory of which, I chose fantasy, mysticism and myth. The design an attempt at creating a bridge between primary and secondary worlds. This image actually shows a lift I designed to transport the students to the subterranean catacomb.

I particularly enjoy the mix of futurism in concert with Post-Industrial Revolution influenced hand crank elements, gears and cable technologies. Very British by nature I surmise. Beautifully crafted model and render.
