Full-size is very big!
After a somber night, I thought I'd post something playful this morning: A cross section of maps from other planets!
(It's big, so be sure to see full-size.)
Pencils & ink on paper; put together in PS.
Thanks for all previous comments & favs: As always, they're all appreciated!
Have a wonderful day one & all,
Mark

Know your going through a lot right now Mark so I was so pleased to see you post today. This one is truly amazing as I zoomed in (even with the computer here at work) I could see the details in your pencil and ink were so fine. This is such a fun and creative scene Mark, please take care my friend.

I like that you kept, or created, a paper edge - torn, visible on some, gives a wider context for viewing and understanding the images as works on paper. The detail images are so tight that at first I see separate works, then the patterns emerge to the eye. For me the black is too contrasty, but I'm often accused of having a limited palette so probably best to ignore that LOL. Caio dude.

I am happy that your creativity continues to shine during your difficult time.Much to ponder here,Mark. The top left reminds me of a map of Egypt and the Middle East.

Mark, I am deeply fascinated by your map-art. It is really amazing and strange and beautiful. You must have learned now, that I love it and your graduations in color and the grainy areas.

Fascinating! According to this months theme we can say that your world is other worlds.I am not astonished that you escape from this, after many hard blows here this year. i admire your pencil work. Must have taken hours and hours to do them, I guess and hope it is therapy for your mind. The colors are mind blowing!
