Description

My first time ever getting an Assassin Bug, in fact the first time ever seeing one. He stayed on my shrub for a good 20 mins or so. You can see his snout under his head; he uses it to drain the insides from his victims. Thanks for looking and any comments. -Bruce Canon XTi w/50mm 2.5 And Hoya +4 +2 Close-up Filters.

Unbelievable textures on this thing; I can make out the ridges in its wings, the tiny hairs on its body, all those little bumps in the leaf... it's hypnotic, man. Almost shocking to see those intense details jump out from the swimmy, blurry background. You truly are a master of depth of field.
