Description
So I was in San Diego for a class for work two weeks ago and we got out early on Friday so I thought I'd try to make it down to see the Midway. Unfortunately that was all I got to do is just see it from the outside. It closed about five minutes before I got there, though I'm guessing it wouldn't have been worth it to try to rush through it quickly if I'd gotten there sooner.
So maybe next time I get to SD I'll manage to see the rest of it. Do have some zoomed in shots of a few of the planes up on the deck that I'll post later this week.

Nice time of the day for this shot! So you missed seeing the ship, but the light and shadows are truly unique ... one sees so many high-noon washed-out shots of big ships.
