Description

Another shot captured while sheltering from a downpour. The sky was pretty dull, but the texture of the tree and it's roots made good foreground material. I shot out into the misty dull sky trying to get as much foreground as posssible and as little awful sky. Post work - in PS, same as my lakeland larches a simplifier filter. Thanks for comments on Buttermere walk, much appreciated.

This fabuloooso! What a result! It was a superb pic to start with, but I really like the postwork. So much better than the HDR that can be overdone so easily!
